IISER Kolkata Summer Internship 2022: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata has arranged the summer research program for the students. There is an excellent opportunity for the students who are studying B.Sc., M.Sc., B.S., M.S., B.Tech., and B.E courses under various Institutions or Universities across the world, for this research program the IISER Kolkata gives some salient points that are given below.

The application portal for IISER Kolkata Summer Student Research program will be operational from 20.04.2022 and it be active up to 04.05.20222. In the online application form, candidates need to select two faculty members for the below given programme. After receiving applications, they shortlist the candidates and then they published selected candidates name in its official portal on 11.05.2022.

After successful completion of selection process, candidates should undergo research programme from 17th May – 15th July (60 days in this time frame). While the internship programme will be completed then they provide certificate to the student and it will be sent via e-mail.

Important Points

• IISER Kolkata will run a fully online summer research program for 2022.
• A student will be guided by her/his guide via some suitable online platform.
• There will be no experimental project this year for the summer project.
• Only theoretical projects can be carried out if a student and a guide agree to do so.
• KVPY students are especially encouraged to apply.
• There will be NO fellowship for this summer for the students who do not have external funding.
• Any student who decides to join the project should agree to devote at least 5 to 6 hours a day for the project work for 60 days.
• Upon completion of the internship, if a student submits the project report to the supervisor and the supervisor finds the report is worth a summer project, then the student will be provided a certificate.
• The certificate will be sent via email.
